Available for sale is a 1997 Kaege 911 Coupe, a beautifully restored example of the classic 911, expertly reimagined by Kaege. This restomod pairs the timeless design of the original Porsche 911 with modern upgrades, offering a refined yet thrilling driving experience. Finished in elegant silver with a striking red interior, the car has covered just 4983 kilometers since its restoration.

With backdated carbon-fiber bodywork as well as a 3.8-liter flat-six, a six-speed manual transaxle, and a limited-slip differential. Finished in silver with gray graphics, the car rides on Kerscher 18” wheels with KW suspension components and Brembo brake calipers, and additional highlights include a front lip spoiler, a retractable decklid spoiler, H4-style LED headlights, and carbon-fiber accents throughout. The interior is trimmed in blue leather and woven cloth upholstery and features color-keyed VDO gauges as well as Recaro front seats, air conditioning, an aluminum pedal set, and a digital media receiver with navigation. Acquired by the current owner and imported to the US in 2024.

Kaege Retro was founded in 2010 by Roger Kaege in Stetten, Germany, and builds customized 911s based on the 993 platform. Each is built to order, and the first was completed in 2016. The RS-inspired bodywork is constructed from carbon-fiber and incorporates flared fenders and quarter panels and H4-style LED headlights. Carbon fiber extends to the wheel well liners, underside trays, and rocker panels.

This car was ordered in GT Silver Metallic (LM7Z) with gray Porsche logotype. Additional specifications include a front lip spoiler, a retractable decklid spoiler, and chrome-finished accents on the fuel and oil filler caps, headlight bezels, bullet-style side mirrors, and rear bumperettes.

Fuchs-inspired 18” three-piece wheels are sourced from Kerscher and wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 225/45 up front and 255/40 out back. The car rides on KW suspension components, and braking is handled by Brembo calipers and drilled rotors at all four corners.

The cabin has been outfitted with Recaro Sportster CS bucket seats trimmed in blue Nappa leather and woven cloth, and the upholstery scheme carries over to the rear jump seats, door panels, and side panels. A Bluetooth-capable digital media receiver with navigation has been installed, and USB and auxilary inputs are mounted ahead of the center console. Additional appointments include air conditioning, aluminum pedals, and power windows.

Brushed sill plates identify the car as #6 in the series.

The airbag steering wheel has a leather-wrapped rim and sits ahead of customized VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer flanked by a 300-km/h speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 3,200 kilometers (~2k miles).

A strut tower brace spans the front trunk, which is trimmed to complement the cabin. The storage compartment liner is constructed from carbon-fiber.

The air-cooled flat-six was modified by Kaege with an increased displacement of 3.8 liters, hydraulic lifters, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. A carbon-fiber air filter housing and heater intake duct have also been added. Output is advertised as 300 horsepower, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.

The car is in excellent condition and has been meticulously maintained. Serious enquiries are welcome, and we encourage those interested to contact us directly for further details or to arrange a viewing.
