This 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is powered by a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Antimatter Blue with painted Oxford White center stripes. Rear seats were deleted as part of the Carbon Fiber Track Pack, and amenities include carbon-fiber trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and Intelligent Access with push-button ignition. The Technology Package added a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, voice-activated navigation, and blind-spot monitoring.
The dashboard-mounted serial number plate denotes this GT500 as chassis number M3473.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features a gray centering stripe as well as paddle shifters and frames a configurable 12″ LCD instrument panel. Auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 17 miles.
The hand-assembled 5.2-liter Predator V8 was factory rated at 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque and is equipped with an inverted roots-type supercharger, an air-to-liquid intercooler, and an engine oil cooler. A plaque bears the engraved signature of the engine builder. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gearing.
